Jan. 19, 2012: Stilwell Baker to Supply Production AFCS Units for Erickson Air-Crane S64 Helicopter Fleet

Vancouver, WA –Stilwell Baker announced that it has been chosen by Erickson Air-Crane to supply production Automatic Flight Control System units for EAC’s S64 helicopter fleet. The modernized automated flight control system was developed jointly by the two companies in 2010 and was certified by the FAA in March of 2011.

Prior to contracting with Stilwell Baker, CDWR was experiencing a high failure rate in the alarm system used in pump stations that store and distribute water to over 25 million Californians. By modernizing the circuitry and components of the annunciator output cards and delivering a compatible finished product, SBI has enabled CDWR to significantly prolong the useful life of the pump alarm system for years into the future..

July 15, 2011: Stilwell Baker Engineers New Power Supply for Superior Technical Services Win

Custom electronics design firm, Stilwell Baker, Inc (SBI), announced the successful completion of a legacy power supply re-design for Superior Technical Services (STS). STS needed a solution for failing discreet power supplies on Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs). By employing reverse engineering expertise, SBI managed the project to a positive and cost effective outcome by designing a single, high MTBF multiple output power supply to replace the original equipment, thus extending the useful life of the legacy SEMs.
